☁️ Nextcloud VPS Access#

We will show you how to set up your LibraHost Nextcloud VPS.

📋 Prerequisites#

• An active LibraHost Nextcloud VPS
• Access to your VPS IP address
• A web browser

⏳ VPS Installation#

Once your VPS is delivered, you need to wait a few minutes for the Nextcloud installation to complete.

Once the installation is finished, you will need to go to the following address:

https://VPS_IP:8080

⚠️ Important: Replace VPS_IP with the actual IP address of your server.

🔑 Initial Configuration#

Step 1: Retrieving the Passphrase#

Once on the Nextcloud AIO homepage, you will see a "Passphrase" displayed.

⚠️ Critical: Save this Passphrase in a safe place! It is required to administer your Nextcloud instance.

Step 2: Accessing the administration interface#

Click the "Open Nextcloud AIO login" button to access the administration interface.

Step 3: Login with the Passphrase#

On the login page:

1. Enter the Passphrase you saved previously
2. Click the "Log in" button

🌐 Domain Configuration#

Step 4: Domain entry#

You will need to enter the domain where your Nextcloud will be accessible.

A domain is provided with the VPS that works as follows:

Format: ip(reversed).rev.as200136.net

Example:

• With IP: 163.5.141.24
• The domain will be: 24.141.5.163.rev.as200136.net

For your VPS:

ip(reversed).rev.as200136.net

Step 5: Domain validation#

Once you have entered your domain, click "Submit domain".

🔧 Application Installation#

Step 6: Extension selection#

On the next page, you can:

1. Choose the extensions you want to have on your Nextcloud

Recommended extensions:

• ✅ Collabora - Online office suite for editing documents, spreadsheets and presentations
• ✅ Imaginary - Image processing and conversion
• ✅ Nextcloud Talk - Integrated video conferencing and chat

1. Validate your choice by clicking the installation button

⚠️ Warning: The installation is relatively long, it can take 5 to 10 minutes to be completely finished.

Step 7: Installation completion#

Once the installation is finished, you will arrive at a final page containing:

• Initial nextcloud username: admin
• Initial nextcloud password: (automatically generated password)
• An "Open your Nextcloud" button

🔒 Security: Save these credentials in a safe place!

🚀 Nextcloud Access#

Step 8: First connection#

1. Click "Open your Nextcloud" to access your instance
2. Log in with the credentials:
   • Username: admin
   • Password: (the generated password)

✅ Verification#

To confirm everything is working correctly:

1. Interface accessible: You should see the Nextcloud dashboard
2. Active features: Test file uploading
3. Installed extensions: Check that your chosen applications are available
